Bethel School Board Approves Policy Changes

The Bethel School Board voted Monday Dec. 12 to revise the board policies regarding administering medications to students. The new policy states the principal at each school will designate what employees may administer medications, with the school nurse being the primary.

Grinchmas Parade, Whoville, Brings Community Together

There were many Grinches in the Grinchmas Holiday Parade and Marching Band Contest, Dec. 8, in Tecumseh. There were Grinches in fire trucks, on floats, riding in cars, walking “Max” and one with Santa Claus on a motorcycle.

History Was Made In Shawnee, Dec. 8

State history, Pottawatomie county history, Shawnee history… it was a first for all of these when McElyea & Owens Funeral Group installed the first crematory in the county and then performed the first human Aquamation cremation process in the state.
