Shultz Reports Wes Watkins Reservoir Remain Good For Now

Steven Shultz, Project Manager for the Pottawatomie County Development Authority (PCDA) reported to the board that the Wes Watkins Reservoir lake level was only down one foot. With the drought conditions as they are, this was good news.

ONE Features Elk Hunting Seminars, Killer Chef Demos

FireLake Arena was full of hunters, fishermen and those learning about outdoor pastimes this weekend, Aug. 12-13. The Fifth Annual Outdoor Nation Expo (ONE) brought out at least 18,000 people for the event, said cofounder Rick Gage - up from 15,000 last year.
