Peace and Praise Choir is making a joyful noise

The season of caroling is upon us. Shawnee has a special treat this year with the newly formed Peace and Praise Choir. The Choir has been practicing “a joyful noise” since the beginning of September and have welcomed many new members since then.Created and led by Dr. Ada Hunter with Dr.

Shawnee School Board hears appeal

The Shawnee Board of Education held a Special Session meeting on Nov. 20 in order to resolve three subjects before Thanksgiving break.The first item was to hear an appeal to the removal of Cyndi Berger from school premises. Superintendent Dr.
