The City of Shawnee, in partnership with Downey Contracting, has officially broken ground on the new Shawnee Animal Welfare Shelter. This project represents a significant step forward in enhancing animal care and welfare services for the Shawnee community. The new facility will provide improved space and resources to support both animals in need and the staff who serve them. The new location is off North Kickapoo and Hazel Del Rd. Photo Provided
