This week, I want to cover the new laws passed by the Legislature that relate to alcohol, tobacco and other controlled substances. House Bill 2095 modifies several components of law regarding medical marijuana licensing, regulations enforcement, and business operations.

A few years ago, Mr. Right and I had to forego a vacation because every cent saved for our trip was dumped into our dog. I told the vet that the dog was my vacation this year. He laughed and told me our dog was his vacation, too. Not funny, Doc.

CAPITOL REPORT

This session, education remained at the top of our priorities. An education package, outlined below in a few bills, was the result of months of negotiations between the House and Senate, and I’m glad we were able to get something across the finish line in time.

Tired Of Mother Nature’s Hissy Fits

It’s tough when a long weekend coincides with a major storm and an upcoming deadline, especially if you work in newspaper publishing. It can definitely create a lot of anxiety. It was a beautiful weekend.
