Kids Still Say The Darndest Things

Black and white TV viewers of yesteryear will recall Art Linkletter’s show by the same name. This column will relate children’s comments I have personally heard or those told to me. My aunt told this one about one of my cousins when he was about five years old.

Seventy-two percent of Americans say we’re headed in the wrong direction under President Biden’s leadership. I am one of them, and it’s pretty likely you are, too. In Oklahoma, and much of the nation, everyday life is harder and less safe under President Biden’s economy and policies.

How To Use The Electric Toothbrush

Capitol Notes

This week at the House, we spent hours on the floor each day hearing, debating and voting on bills. Ultimately, we heard 163 bills, but that still leaves 380 House bills that are eligible to be considered in the coming weeks. We have until Thursday, March 23 to hear these remaining bills.

History Being Made

There was some history being made last week, and the high school athletes from Pottawatomie County were right smack dab in the middle of it all. Four area teams fought their way to the Big House last week.

An Old Nerd Meets Today’s Nerds

Through an unbelievable set of circumstances, my wife and I met the defending world champion high school robotics team last Friday evening at a local restaurant. The Up-The-Creek members were from Colorado and were in Shawnee participating in the Oklahoma Regional First Robotics Competition.

Last week, President Biden issued his budget for Fiscal Year 2024. His budget doubles down on his failed economic policies that have devastated hardworking Americans.
