The End Of The Dirt Road, It’s Fun

If the road was paved, I would say we live on a cul-de-sac. But it’s not, so I don’t. Our home is at the top of the hill on a less than one-mile dirt and gravel road. It’s outside of any city’s limits so we, meaning everyone who lives on this road, are pretty much left to our own devices.

Recently, the Wall Street Journal reported that millions of people carry the same items in their pockets each day. (Every Day Carry---EDC). Contents of EDCers’ pockets, beyond keys and wallets, include writing pens, multi-purpose miniature tools, handkerchiefs, flashlights, and knives.

Thursday, Mar. 23, was our final day to pass House bills through the House chamber, and we ultimately heard 477 bills ahead of the third reading deadline. Two of the bills approved were two of my own.

The Ten Acre Observatory

March was another one of those months that provided an evening or two of good viewing, but overall, it caused problems for those wanting to do some deep sky observing. Lingering cloud cover and high winds were the culprits here at TAO.
