Bethel Lady Wildcats Claim Championship

The Bethel Lady Wildcats add four wins to their 6-0 season as they sweep through the First United Bank Tournament to claim the championship. Tuesday, Dec. 7, the Lady Wildcats beat Sulphur 40-29. At halftime, Bethel led the Lady Bulldogs 20-10. Sulphur cut the lead in the third quarter, 25-22.

Savages Battle Back To Consolation Finals

The Savages dropped their opener in the Bethel Tournament last Thursday and then worked their way to the Consolation Finals on Saturday. On Thursday, the Savages faced a tough Clinton team and fell behind 18-14 after the first quarter but came back to knot the game at 28-28 at halftime.

BHS Struggles Through Tournament

It was a week of ups and downs for the Bethel Wildcats, finishing with two wins and two losses. On Tuesday, Dec. 7, the Wildcats beat Sulphur 69-49 in the first home game of the season. Bethel built a significant lead in the first half, outpacing the Bulldogs 45-10.

Lady Savages Win Consolation

The Lady Savage round ballers lost in the first round of the Bethel Tournament on Thursday last week before turning it around to claim the Consolation Title on Saturday. Against Byng in the opener, the Lady Savages got off to a fast start, but the second half spelled doom for the Tecumseh ladies.

THS Wrestles To Two Wins

The Savage grapplers wrestled their way to two wins last week as they hosted Sulphur on Tuesday the 7th and then went to Little Axe on Thursday. Against Sulphur is was a slow start with several forfeits before the Bulldogs began to fall.
