Linda June King

Linda June King passed away on August 16, 2024. Linda was born on February 4, 1946 to Robert Lee and Betty Marie Rone in Shawnee, OK. She attended Classen High School, graduating with the class of 1964. It was there that she met and eventually married her husband, John King on December 5, 1965.

Jacee was born on her great-grandfathers birthday June 13th in Ada, Oklahoma to Joe Victory and Kristy Reynolds-O’Shell. She lived in Shawnee all 23 years of her life. She graduated from Epic Charter School and helped run the family business. People couldn’t help but love her.

Donna Earnest

Donna Ann Earnest passed away Aug. 11, 2024. She was born on Nov. 20, 1945 in Roswell, NM to Stella P Worley and adoptive father Raymond P Jennings. On Dec. 16, 1961 she married Keith Earnest in Roswell, NM.

Hershell Evans

Hershell Allen Evans passed away on Aug. 6th, 2024 from natural causes. Hershell was born on September 17th, 1965 to James O. and Alma Lee Evans in Ardmore, OK. Hershell in Tecumseh, OK. Anyone who knew Hershell could tell you just how much he loved working in the pipeline industry.

Norvel (Butch) Allen Garlington Jr. passed away Aug. 7th, 2024. Known for working in the oil field then tinkering on cars, being involved with Boys Scouts, Masonic Lodge, and being a clown or Santa for Shriners. Norvel was a beacon of light and touched the lives of everyone he met.

Tracy Hartsfield

Tracy Joe Hartsfield passed away on Aug. 8, 2024.Tracy was born on Nov. 21, 1950, in Wewoka, OK. He was the son of Clyde Moore and Dorothy (Blanton). And was adopted by Houston M. Hartsfield. He grew up in Wewoka Public Schools.

Betty Lou “Marty” Watson

Betty Lou “Marty” Watson passed away Aug. 2, 2024. Betty was born Sept. 15, 1940 in Norman, OK to Harry and Lillie (Sloan) MaHardy. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1958. She attended Haskell Institute and graduated in 1960. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Linda Charlene “Charlene” McClure passed away July 30, 2024.She was born Sept. 4, 1943 in Shawnee, OK to Charles and Mayme (Lewis) Stapp.Charlene graduated from Shawnee High School in 1961. After graduation she attended Oklahoma Baptist University.

Donald Ray Morris

Donald Ray Morris, 75, of Shawnee, OK, passed away July 30th. He was born in Tulsa on Feb. 24, 1949, to Ancil and Myrtle Morris. He attended Oklahoma State University where he met and married Carma Norene Guinn on March 20, 1971.

Sandra Henry

Sandra Kay (Thompson) Henry passed away July 21, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Sandy, the daughter of Clyde and Leona (Roberts) Thompson was born on September 21, 1944 in Long Beach CA. Sandy attended Tribbey Public School. After high school she married Harold Joe Wheeler in 1962.
