Voters Asked To Confirm Registration Address

(Oklahoma City) – Voters who have received an Address Confirmation Notice in the mail from the State Election Board are asked to respond as soon as possible to avoid having their registration become “inactive.

Seven-Year-Old Roper Follows Family Tradition

Ransom Parsons may be only seven, but he’s been roping his whole life. His parents, Montana and Shelby Parsons, of Earlsboro, both competed in the International Finals Youth Rodeo when they were in high school.

The Potawatomi Fire Basketball Team and the new Salvation Army Captains were recognized by the City of Shawnee at the meeting held Monday, July 17. Mayor Ed Bolt said, “Hopefully everybody got to a Fire game and saw how much fun they were, how good these guys are, and how hard they play.

Tecumseh Grad Finds Success In Theatre

Tecumseh High School’s Class of 1980 can see one of their classmates this week, starring in “The Prom” with Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. Jerry Jay Cranford plays Barry Glickman in the play, which runs through July 16 at the Civic Center Music Hall in OKC.
