THS Awarded Raspberry Pi Kits To Teach Technology, Cybersecurity Skills

Tecumseh High School, Krouch STEAM Center, Electronics and Amateur Radio was awarded a piece of the pie – the technology pi, that is! Tecumseh High School is one of 28 schools across the state awarded Raspberry Pi kits from the Oklahoma Information Sharing and Analysis Center (OK-ISAC).

New Safety Features Approved For South Rock Creek Schools

South Rock Creek Public Schools has been approved to use a portion of sales tax funds to implement safety precautions like a “window safety film.” Ryan Rosser, South Rock Creek Superintendent, introduced this action during the weekly meeting of the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners.

Pink Town Council Disbands Zoning Committee

The public has spoken, and the Town Council of Pink listened.
After a heated Pink Zoning Board Special Meeting on May 8, in which 25 citizens voiced their opposition to the Proposed Zoning Ordinance Draft, the Town Council of Pink set a special meeting on May 15 to discuss disbanding it.

U.S. Navy Pilot Commander Danny Glenn was flying an A-4C Skyhawk over North Vietnam when he went across a clearing in the overcast clouds. It was the 135th mission of his second cruise when he was hit three times by anti-aircraft artillery.

Documentation Of Tornado Impact Continues, Resources Available

Pottawatomie County Emergency Manager Chad Larman said during an update to the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners that the cleanup, equipment, and man-hour costs associated with the tornado so far is roughly $1.8 million.

The Pottawatomie County Election Board offers special services to military and overseas voters along with their spouses and dependents, making it easier for them to vote. All eligible applicants must complete a Federal Postcard Application (FPCA) in order to access benefits.
