Number five on the Pottawatomie Power Top Ten list is Casey Bell, Regional Executive and President of BancFirst, Shawnee.“It is a real honor to be recognized by my peers as one of the county’s top leaders this year,” said Bell.

Tina Hanna took the sixth spot in the Pottawatomie Power Top 10, but she has always been an example of initiative.Hanna grew up in Ardmore and graduated from Broken Bow, the daughter of Kaye Steele and the late Mike Steele, sister of Kris Steele.

Ladan Moratoria, Ed Bolt, Petya Stefanoff, Chris Odneal, David Henry and Kevin Kalies took a walk in the Dunbar Heights area on Nov. 18 to document the safety concerns for pedestrians. Most of the safety walks that have taken place in Pottawatomie County have occurred during the day.

Avedis grant expands access to hearing aids

The Avedis Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to Hough Ear Institute (HEI) in support of its program, which provides free, high-quality hearing aids and follow-up audiological care to low-income adults.
