East Central University awarded TSET Legacy Grant

ADA, Okla. – The Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) has approved a $13M Legacy Grant to East Central University (ECU) for the purpose of completing The Dan Hays STEM Center and School of Nursing in Ada., Okla.
Several children and teens enjoy the ice-skating rink made of synthetic ice in front of the Santa Fe Depot in Shawnee during the Safe Events for Families "Winter Wonderland" on Nov. 28. Oklahoma Representative Dell Kerbs, with SEFF, said they had about 1,000 visitors to the free event in their opening weekend. Kerbs added that ice skates are available for those who need to borrow them. See full cutline below.

Hello Shawnee! December is certainly chilly so far, as the cold front rolled in right at the start of the month! That means the holiday season is not far off, as you can see Christmas lights up around town, especially in the downtown area.
