Sammy Dale Williamson passed away February 22, 2023. He was born on January 28, 1934 in Okemah, OK to John and Sarah (Godwin) Williamson. Sammy graduated with the class of 1954 from Okemah High School. He attained his Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State in Criminal Justice.

Alisa Dawn Beal passed away on Feb. 13, 2023. Alisa was born on Dec. 13, 1959, to Jack R. and Carolyn Sue Merritt in Tecumseh, OK. She graduated from Bethel High School and continued her education at Seminole State College, where she earned an associate degree in English. She also attended UCO.

Almeda Lee passed away Feb. 15, 2023. She was born August 23, 1949 to Paul and Anna (Airington) Elcyzyn in Oklahoma City, OK. Almeda was raised in Plainview, TX and has recently resided in the Pink community. She obtained her Physical Therapy Assistant Degree at OCCC.

David Lee Fry

David Lee Fry passed away on Feb. 16, 2023, at his home. David was born Nov. 1, 1950, in DeRidder, LA to Lee Fry and Barbara (Brown) Fry. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School and earned a Doctorate from Southwestern University in 1975. David married Paula Ford on July 31, 1976, in OKC.

Sharon Janelle Powell passed away Feb. 14, 2023 in Shawnee. She was born Apr. 24, 1948 to James and Susie Doty in Mill Creek, OK. Sharon attended Mill Creek Schools. She attended East Central University and Rose State College.

Gerald “Jerry” Lisle

Gerald “Jerry” Lisle passed away Feb. 7th, 2023. Jerry was born Gerald L. Lisle on Apr. 20th 1946, to Elvis and Leatha Lisle of Denver, Colorado. Jerry attended school in Denver and enjoyed working on cars, racing cars, and anything automotive.

Sheryl Lynne (Walker) Bell

Sheryl Lynne (Walker) Bell passed away Feb. 7, 2023. She was born Sep. 3, 1965 in Tulare, California to John Perry Walker, Sr. and Margaret Jewell (New) Walker. Sheryl was raised in Alabama and attended school in Dothan, Alabama. She married Mark Preston Bell, Sr.

Bette (Speers) Rowlett passed away on Jan. 21, 2023. Bette attended St. Benedicts Catholic School and graduated Class of 1949. Stories of her days growing up on the Junk Family farm and riding a horse to school are favorites among her 30 grand, great, and great-greatgrandchildren.

Katherine Dorene Austin passed away Feb. 8, 2023. She was born June 4, 1964 in San Diego, CA to James and Carmen Jean (Switch) Winter. Katherine graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1982. Katherine proudly served in the US Navy, being stationed in WA, CA, then FL.

JoAnne Denise Sander

JoAnne Denise (Farwell) Sander passed away Feb. 11, 2023, after a long illness. She was born on Feb. 20, 1959. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 pm at New Beginnings Church in Shawnee, OK. Friends and family will meet in the fellowship hall at 12 pm before the service.
