Jimmy “Jim” Lyle Hayes, 70, of Tecumseh, OK, died Jan. 13, 2022, at his home. He was born Sept. 20, 1951, to Edsel Lyle and Rose Marie (Courtright) Hayes in Perkins, OK. Jim was raised in Ripley, Oklahoma where he graduated from Ripley High School.

Lewis “Henry” Brown, Sr.

Lewis “Henry” Brown, Sr., 82, of Shawnee, OK, died suddenly on Jan. 13, 2022, at his home. He was born Oct. 15, 1939, to Raymond and Pauline (Lowe) Brown in Springfield, MO. Henry served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for two years. He married Minnie A. “Penny” Penner, Dec. 12, 1997.

Waneva Flora Zell “Neva” Everett

Waneva Flora Zell “Neva” Everett, 82, of Tecumseh, OK, died Jan. 13, 2022, in Tecumseh. She was born Nov. 5, 1939, in Tecumseh, OK, to Walter William and Velma Zell (Poff) Yoder. Neva was born in Tecumseh, but being the child of a Church of God minister, she moved around a lot.

Lavada Keen, 105, of Seminole, OK, died Jan. 9, 2022. She was born April 24, 1916, in Cash, TX, to Edmond and Myrtle Foster. A service was held Jan. 12, 2022.

Lea Dawn Rhodd

Lea D. Rhodd, 38, of Shawnee died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, in an Oklahoma City Hospital. Lea was born July 29, 1983 in Shawnee to Michael Ellis and Connie Rhodd. Tribal services were Jan. 13 at the McKosato home with burial in Wakolee Cemetery.

Delmer Davis Lane

Delmer Davis Lane, 93, born July 19, 1928, of Shawnee, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, in a local nursing center. Services were in Walker Funeral Service Chapel on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 with burial following at Dale Cemetery.

Wanda June (Robinson) Hill

Wanda June (Robinson) Hill, 78, of Shawnee, OK, died Jan. 1, 2022. Wanda was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Dallas, TX, to Joseph Cecil Robinson and Dessie Mae Morton Robinson. Wanda married Arnold Ralph Hill on Dec. 1, 1961. Wanda and Ralph were members of Trinity Baptist Church for 57 years.

Wanda Lee (Cole, Myers) Brown, 97, died Jan. 2, 2022. She was born to Hester and John Cole in Shawnee on Oct. 21, 1924. She attended and graduated from Shawnee High. She married Billy Jack Myers, Sr. after high school and moved to Texas where their children were born.
