Letter To Editor: As a former State Senator, I’m often asked why legislators fail to address the repeated media reports of corruption and misappropriation of state funds?

Lower Lights Keep Burning—Not

(Necessary introduction: Lighthouses alerted ships of dangerous rocks. Some lighthouses were on high hills to give the big ships the warning. Unfortunately, some places had dangerous rocks that were below the line of sight of the ships. To ensure safety, fires were often built near the rocks.

There are many issues that senior citizens face, and one of those may be having a daily nutritious meal. Thanks to the City of Tecumseh and Project HEART, anyone over 60 years of age may become a member of the Golden Age Center.We offer many activities for seniors besides meals.

To the editor, The impossible happened less than six months into my first duty assignment in San Bernardino, California. A member of our unit received a call from his wife that President John F. Kennedy had been assassinated. Women started crying and hugging each other.
