I have wanted to write this story for over four decades. This account stretches credulity; however, the setting adds to its possibility. The setting was at the seminary I attended in Fort Worth, TX.

On September 19, 2025, the United States House of Representatives passed H.R. 5371, the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026, a temporary continuing resolution which would fund the government until November 21, 2025.

Back to school, finding normal

After a long week of what felt like non-stop tragedy, Tecumseh Public Schools are in session. As a student, I was a little nervous to come back to school after all that had transpired the week prior.

Eventually, as with all homes, there comes the need to do maintenance, repairs, and updates. Although we started our tiny home six years ago, Mr. Right and I find ourselves already maintaining it when it took all this time to build the house. We built it ourselves.
