Since President Biden took office, he has increased the role of the federal government in the lives of everyday Americans. The policies of this Administration have led to high inflation, more government dependency, a struggling economy, and mortgage rates that have doubled over the last 3 years.

Many Oklahomans have California connections; especially, around Bakersfield. There is currently a Reverse Grapes of Wrath migration from California back to Oklahoma. Oklahomans are a lot like salmon---they go back to the place of their birth.

We are proud Americans at the Golden Age Center. Recently, we had to take down our tattered flag to be burned in a ceremony done yearly by the American Legion. Please check your flying flags to be sure they are in good condition.
