Tecumseh Relay Team Dashes To First Place

Tecumseh track went to Okemah last Friday and came back with several medals, including a first place finish by the Savages 3200-meter relay team. The 3200 team of Logan Haworth, Levi Bingham, James Neghanquet and Aveon Stokes claimed the top spot in a time of 9:09.79.

Savages, Lady Savages Named All-Conference

High school basketball is over for the season, and the Tecumseh Lady Savages and Savages are collecting accolades. The Lady Savages had three named to the All-Conference team, with Kenzli Warden selected Co-Offensive Player of the Year. Warden was also recently named as an All-Stater.

The Bethel Lady Wildcats golf team, coached by Tommy Block, placed second at the Pauls Valley Tournament on Friday, Mar. 31 with a combined score of 402. Kloee Nichols (pictured right) took first place with a score of 86 and Larron Morris (pictured left) took eighth place with a score of 96.

Bethel Lady Wildcats and Wildcats received recognition for all the work put into the 2022-2023 basketball season. Coach Tara Satterfield is recognized as the North Canadian River Valley All-Conference Coach of the Year.

What was a close game at halftime between two of the TBL’s top teams, turned into a rout as the Potawatomi Fire used a 3517 third-quarter surge to top the Shreveport Mavericks, 131-106.
