Fire Heats Up For A 128-114 Win Over Lightning

Potawatomi Fire LITTLE ROCK, ARK — After a close battle for much of the game, the Potawatomi Fire pulled away in the fourth quarter and held off a tough challenge from the Little Rock Lightning to win 128114.

Honoring Shawnee’s Super Bowl Champion

It was one day short of three weeks since Super Bowl 57, but on Sat., March 4, Jim Thorpe Stadium was full of fans young and old - cheering on their favorite football star.

Bethel Lady Wildcats Win Area, Tip Off At State Today

It was a tough game, but the Lady Wildcats brought home the Area Championship Friday, Mar. 3. Bethel took a 15-5 lead in the first quarter, but Silo was not giving in without a fight.

THS Lady Savages Season Ends In Tough Area Play

Basketball season ended for the Tecumseh Lady Savages last Thursday in the Area Tournament at Henryetta in a gritty, relentless, tough ball game by both teams. Tecumseh faced Muldrow in the consolation bracket of Area in a win-or-gohome situation.

The Lady Savages Slow Pitch squad started the season at home with a bang on Monday night as they needed just three innings to get the win over Seminole. Tecumseh scored a run in the bottom of the first to lead 1-0 over the Lady Chieftains.

Bethel Girls & Boys Powerlifting split up this week to take on tough fields for their respective Regional Powerlifting Meets. The Girls began the week by traveling to Tishomingo to take on the field of the South Regional.

Dale Teams Cinch A Spot At State

The undefeated Dale Pirates continue their quest for back-to-back state titles. In area play, Friday, Mar. 3, the Pirates made quick work of Colcord with an 84-31 win. Four players scored in double figures beginning with Dayton Forsythe and Deken Jones with 16 points each.
