Bethel Lady Wildcats Place First At Chandler

The Bethel girls’ golf team had a busy two weeks, playing tournaments at Chandler, the Lady Broncho Invitational at Lake Hefner, and the Saints Shootout at the Earlywine golf course.The team finished first at Chandler on a par 76 course, taking the first three medals.

Fire beats Enid at home and on the road

ENID, OK – The Potawatomi Fire earned a crucial 111-102 victory over the Enid Outlaws on Saturday night.The Fire, who are now 8-1 on the season, took over sole possession of first place in the Central Conference with the win.
The Tecumseh High School Lady Savages Tennis Team placed first in the Seminole Tournament on April 7. #1 Doubles team Jalee Meyers and Laycee Thoma took first. #2 Doubles team Lili Lowden and Kalyn Bartmess placed second, and Avery Renken and Maggie Johnson, also in #2 Doubles, came in fifth. The SHS Lady Wolves tennis team competed in the Western Heights Tournament at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center on Saturday, March 30th, delivering strong performances across the board.In the 1 Singles bracket, senior Daisy Meeks entered as the 3rd seed and showcased remarkable resilience.

Tecumseh Baseball Faces Tough Losses

Tecumseh Baseball got in a couple of games last week, both against Byng, before the gulley washers began canceling the rest of the week.The Savages went to Byng to face the Pirates, and the game was a pitcher’s duel.

Lady Savages Swing Strong Against Top Teams

Despite all the rain last week, the 5A top-ranked Lady Savages found a way around the down-pours on Thursday to get three games in at the Washington Tournament and found some strong competition.The Lady Savages faced another Lady Savage team, #4 Broken Bow, in the first game of the tourney.
