SSC Baseball Coach Honored for 200th Career Win

Seminole State College Head Baseball Coach Mack Chambers was recognized for his 200th career win at the helm of the Trojans on April 7 at Lloyd Simmons Field.

Trey Odom joins OBU coaching staff

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist University has named Trey Odom as its new safeties coach.Odom comes to Bison Hill after spending time at Texas A&M in College Station.He previously worked as a graduate assistant with the Aggies since February of 2024.

THS Stunt Team debuts at Chandler High School

On Mar. 25, the newly created Tecumseh High School Stunt Team competed against Bethany and Chandler High Schools. The event was hosted by Chandler High School. The Tecumseh team is comprised of 17 girls and coached by Katie Marrs, Hannah Hoffman, and Jacee Miller.

Tough Week for Tecumseh Savages

Last week was a very busy one on the diamond for the Savage hardballers. Tecumseh went to Blanchard last Monday and then the Savages welcomed the Lions to Tecumseh, but Blanchard wasn’t very welcoming in either game as the Savages only managed to get one run across.

Lady Savages Power Through Seven-Game Stretch

The top ranked Lady Savage Slow Pitch squad was extremely busy last week with seven games over four days and found success with five wins to move their record to 13-2.After taking on Dale and North Rock Creek on Monday, the Lady Savages went to #5 Washington on Tuesday and came out on top 11-7.

Shawnee High School Girls Tennis Team Shines in Quad Competition

Contributed by Coach Dacia JordanThe Shawnee High School Lady Wolves tennis team showcased their talent and determination in a competitive quad tournament, held in Shawnee on Tuesday, March 25th. They emerged victorious in all three duels against Claremore, Elgin, and Classen SAS.
