Savages Set For Three Consecutive Home Games

The Tecumseh Savages dropped their scheduled home game last week on Tuesday but were plenty busy as they traveled to the Washington Tournament on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. In the opener on Thursday, the Savages met Broken Bow and came out fast to lead 16-14 after the opening quarter.

Dayton Forsythe Reaches 2,000 Points, Dale’s All-Time Leading Scorer

After joining the 1,000-Point Club on March 1, 2022 as a sophomore, Dale senior Dayton Forsythe has now doubled that in his high school basketball career. “Dayton reached the 2,000-point milestone on Jan. 2 at Jones,” said Head Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Edmonson via email.

Tecumseh Falls To Jones On Home Court

It was a rough night for the Savages and Lady Savages as they hosted Jones last week on Tuesday night. Both teams struggled and both teams suffered losses on the evening. The Lady Savages were up first as they met Jones, the three time defending 3A State Champions.

Asher Lady Indians Win Some And Lose Some

Cadence Leba and Payton Leba led the Asher Lady Indians to a big win over the Maud Lady Tigers on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Asher jumped ahead in the first quarter with a 21-8 point lead, but the Lady Tigers answered with 18 points in the second quarter to Asher’s nine.

Bethel & North Rock Creek Ladies Battle To The Final Seconds

The Bethel Lady Wildcats scored in double figures every quarter against the Harrah Lady Panthers on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Bethel held Harrah to one point in the first quarter while putting 17 points on the board. The second quarter was closer, with Harrah netting 11 points to the Lady Wildcats 10.
