Asher Indians Add Two More Wins To Their Record

It was a good week for the Asher Indians, as they captured two wins last week. Asher began the week, Tuesday, Jan. 9, with a trip to Maud, where they defeated the Tigers 66-35. Every member of the Asher Indians put points in the books, led by Tristan Reese with 20.

Lady Indians’ Battle Varnum: A Tough Start to the New Year

Asher Lady Indians played Varnum on Jan. 2 and took on the Lady Whippets in the first game after the New Year. The first half of the game was a battle, with the first quarter ending in a 10-10 tie. The Lady Whippets managed a one-point lead at half, Asher 22 and Varnum 23.

Asher Indians Have Thrilling Back-to-Back Fourth Quarter Victories

The Asher Indians had two fourth-quarter, come-from-behind wins last week. In the Tuesday, Jan. 2 road game against Varnum, the Whippets jumped ahead with an 18-11 lead by the end of the first quarter. By the end of the first half, the Indians still trailed, 27-21.
