Lady Wildcats Lose To Wewoka In The Second Half

The Bethel Lady Wildcats took control the first quarter of the game against the Wewoka Lady Tigers. At the end of the first quarter Bethel had a comfortable lead of 18-9 while the Lady Tigers struggled to find their rhythm.

Savages Improve Record With A 2-Win-1-Loss Week

Last week was a busy one for the Tecumseh Savages with a 2-1 record on the week, beginning on Tuesday night on the road to Seminole. It turned out to be a fruitful trip for the Savages as they took advantage of a big second quarter on the way to a win over the Chieftains.

SHS Wolves Reflect On The Basketball Season At Media Day

The Shawnee Wolves basketball team got a chance to give their opinions during Media Day at the Performing Arts and Athletic Center on Sunday, Jan. 21. The 11 starters sat down to be interviewed - in two groups of four and one group of three - about how the season has gone and how they can improve.

Broken Arrow was the final winner by criteria, after tying Bixby, 36-36, said McLoud Girls Wrestling Coach William Winters. At most basketball games in Pottawatomie County, you can hear the chants, the clapping, and the stomping of cheerleaders. But, up until this school year, that would only be coming from the visiting team’s cheer squad at Asher Public Schools.
