Pott. County Cattlemen’s Associations’ Beef Quiz Bowl Returns

The Pottawatomie County Cattlemen’s Association is bringing back the Beef Quiz Bowl on Nov. 4. For its second year, it will be held at the W.P. Wood THS Alumni Center at 10 am. And any high school student in Pottawatomie County is invited to try their hand at this 100-question multiple-choice test.

Cameras Being Installed At Slick Humphrey Park

The Tecumseh City Council authorized the purchase of a $24,241 security camera system for the city’s Slick Humphrey Park, during their regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 2nd. This comes as a result of increased vandalism issues in recent months.
Sometime around midnight or 1 am, a fire downtown fully engulfed the top floor of the building that housed Bugatti Buds and Candy Licker.. Shawnee Fire Department is dousing the roof of The Ritz in an attempt to keep the fire from spreading.
