Cops N’ Kids Returns To About 5,000 Attendees

Cops N’ Kids was back this year, since having to cancel for the past two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Started in 2017 by Shawnee Police Corporal Vivian Lozano, this was its fourth year. And the public was ready for it. Held at Shawnee’s Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center parking lot on Aug.

PCCA To Host First Beef Quiz Bowl On Oct. 22

Attention, all high school students from Pottawatomie County who wish to win money. The Pottawatomie County Cattlemen’s Association (PCCA) has been planning all year for their inaugural Beef Quiz Bowl to be held at the Tecumseh High School Alumni Center on Oct. 22.

Fair-goers will see the best the county has produced this year. There will be a few new events combined with time-honored events packed into the totally free Pottawatomie County Free Fair.
