The Avedis Foundation awarded The Salvation Army in Shawnee a $20,000 grant on July 21 to help them reach a fundraising goal of $150,000. The $150,000 was matched by the Paul Milburn Match Fund and allows The Salvation Army to have $300,000 in unrestricted, operational funding.
