January 14 Is The Last Day To Apply For Voter Registration

Friday, January 14th, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the February 8, 2021. There will be a Board of Education Primary for Prague School Seat #2 and Konawa School Seat #1 and a Special Election for the Town of Bethel.

Two Local Organizations Work To Make An Idea Reality At SHS

For Theresa Dame’s special education students at Shawnee High School, going outside to study science or waiting for the bus home used to be risky activities. “In order to get the kids on the bus, I had to have them up against there (the building) because this is our bus lane,” said Dame.
SkillsUSA students at Gordon Cooper Technology Center collected 8,615 pennies and raised $404.73 to help local veterans with their “Helping Vets Makes Cents” coin drive.
