Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art High School Juried Art Exhibition Winners! Shawnee, OK – The MGMoA is excited to announce the winners of this year’s High School Juried Art Exhibition. The MGMoA brought in guest judge G. Patrick Riley, an Oklahoma artist and arts educator.

Over 100 Entries At The 6th Annual Bethel Band Boosters Car Show

The Bethel Band Boosters held their Sixth Annual Car Show fundraiser at Bethel High School on April 9. Organizer Carla Whitehurst said this is one of their largest fundraisers each year, and over 100 cars entered, according to their Facebook post. Here are the results from the show.

Durham Award was presented to Tammy Masoner, Barnard Elementary; David Axton, Tecumseh Middle School; Gayla Higgins, Tecumseh High School; and Murna Lack, Cross Timbers Elementary, during the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce Teacher’s Luncheon on April 8 at the Tecumseh City Hall Auditorium. BancFirst, on Harrison in Shawnee, held a reception on March 31 for their bi-annual School Donation Ceremony. BancFirst Regional Sales and Marketing Coordinator Shannon Chandler said they had 47 applications from schools in Pottawatomie County, and 21 were chosen to receive donations of $250-$500.

Stucker Gym Improvements Announced April 4th
