ECU to offer new online Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management

ADA, Okla. – The Stonecipher School of Business at East Central University (ECU) announces the launch of a new online Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management.

Salvation Army Receives Grant

The Avedis Foundation is proud to announce a grant of $158,133 to The Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Club of Shawnee in support of its impactful after-school and summer programming for local youth.

Shawnee Schools to use Yondr bags

In June, the Shawnee Public Schools Board of Education approved the SPS Personal Electronic Device Policy after Oklahoma Senate Bill 139 was passed and went into effect on July 1. It prohibits use of all personal electronic devices from the first bell of the school day until the dismissal bell.

Several dates were set for events at the Aug. 4 Tecumseh City Council meeting Monday evening.Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce was granted use of Slick Humphrey Park for a Party in the Park on Sept. 13, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The Council agreed again to waive the garage sale permit fees for Sept.
