The Potawatomi Family Reunion Festival had a lot of events happening this past weekend. A major day one attraction was Chairman John "Rocky" Barrett and Vice Chairman, Linda Capps cutting the ribbon for the new FireLake Casino. The casino hosts 450 slot machines, a full-service kitchen and a bar.

Over 100 people attended the 2025 Dale Alumni Banquet on Saturday, June 28. The Class of 1975 was recognized for its 50-year reunion. Each attendee received a commemorative pin to mark the occasion.

West Washington Street was partially blocked off for the Tecumseh Public Library program on June 26. Cups and coloring books were provided. Wes Culwell, his son Bill Fleming, and Fleming's wife, Tammy Nelson, all of Asher own these three vehicles. Culwell owns 'Blue Eyed Mary,' a 1954 Ford F-100. Fleming owns the 1926 Rat Rod, made from various parts found on his father's farm. Nelson has the 1967 Plymouth GTX. Natasha Dunagan, Countywide & Sun
