The Potawatomi Family Reunion Festival had a lot of events happening this past weekend. A major day one attraction was Chairman John "Rocky" Barrett and Vice Chairman, Linda Capps cutting the ribbon for the new FireLake Casino. The casino hosts 450 slot machines, a full-service kitchen and a bar.

Dale Alumni Gather to Celebrate Milestones and Memories

Over 100 people attended the 2025 Dale Alumni Banquet on Saturday, June 28. The Class of 1975 was recognized for its 50-year reunion. Each attendee received a commemorative pin to mark the occasion.

West Washington Street was partially blocked off for the Tecumseh Public Library program on June 26. Cups and coloring books were provided. Shawnee, OK – June 24, 2025 — Students attending Shawnee Public Schools’ Wolfpack Adventure Summer STEM program were treated to an unforgettable learning experience this June, thanks to a special visit from the Hiland Dairy Mobile Classroom.
Wes Culwell, his son Bill Fleming, and Fleming's wife, Tammy Nelson, all of Asher own these three vehicles. Culwell owns 'Blue Eyed Mary,' a 1954 Ford F-100.
