Most of the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 19, revolved around discussions of the Educational Sales Tax.This tax, implemented in 2016, is utilized by all 14 school districts in Pottawatomie County. The $0.00495 tax is set to expire in June 2026.

The Tecumseh City Council held a special meeting on Nov. 14 to discuss three matters that needed timely attention. The Board approved all three agenda items and adjourned in about ten minutes.The first item up for discussion was a payment in the amount of $168,079.
