Steven and Ashley Radford, Seminole Auto Sales, won the bidding war for the first cake sold during the live auction at the Project Safe Honey Do Auction Event. The couple purchased the cake for $2,600. The second matching bidder was Hollie Coffman. $14,000 was raised during the cake auction and then doubled with the matching funds from the Paul Milburn Foundation. Countywide & Sun/Suzie Campbell

Honey Do Auction Raises Over $167,000

Including donations, matching funds, and the live and silent auctions, approximately $167,000 was raised at the Project SAFE Honey Do Auction last Thursday.

The Pottawatomie County Cattlemen’s Association is bringing back the Beef Quiz Bowl on Nov. 4. For its second year, it will be held at the W.P. Wood THS Alumni Center at 10 am. And any high school student in Pottawatomie County is invited to try their hand at this 100-question multiple-choice test.
