Brooksville Community Celebrates 120 Years

On Sat., Oct. 14, the Brooksville Community Center was filled with current and former residents - along with stories from the past and hopes for the future. They were there to celebrate the town’s 120th birthday, and the theme was “Coming Back Together.

Tecumseh Schools will use educational sales tax funds to purchase a 2008 or newer 35 passenger shuttle bus with air conditioning and strength and conditioning equipment for Tecumseh High School.

THS Tennis Program Celebrates 50 Years, Memorializes Coach Snider

During halftime of the Tecumseh home football game, Oct. 12, it was the tennis program being honored for their 50th anniversary.

Comment Time Limits Extended During Shawnee Meeting

The first two items on the City of Shawnee Board of City Commissioners meeting took approximately one hour to get through Monday, Oct. 16. Seventeen citizens signed up for public comments.
Multiple awards were received by the Pottawatomie County Deputies at the Oklahoma Sheriffs Association annual Banquet. TPS School Board Approves Purchase Of New Weight Equipment

Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education approved the purchase of strength and conditioning equipment to replace outdated weight training equipment in the weight room at the high school during its meeting on Monday, Oct. 9.
