OBU Nursing Graduates Exceed National Pass Rates On Tests

The average firsttime pass rates on the national nursing certification test, the NCLEXRN, for nursing graduates from the Oklahoma Baptist University School of Nursing consistently exceeds 90% as compared to the national rate of 79.91% and the Oklahoma rate of 78.67% in 2022.

Tribal Chairman John “Rocky” Barrett is one of eight honorees selected for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2023. Since its inception in 1927, 730 accomplished individuals have received this commendation.

Macomb Teacher Wins State Award, Makes Math Fun

This month marks the 17th year since Math Teacher Sharon Spikes started teaching at Macomb High School. Spikes started in education in 1999 and spent two years at Dickson High School and five years at East Central University as an adjunct instructor.
