County Reviews ARPA Funding With New Maud Mayor

The new Mayor of Maud, Jimmy Porterfield, appeared before the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners Tuesday, Sept. 5, to discuss the ARPA funds approved in January for a new water tower for the town.
Mayor Porterfield said the cost of a new tower is estimated to be $1.

Frontier Days To Add Art Show, Basketball Tournament

Tecumseh’s Frontier Days festival will be a walk down memory lane this year, with its theme “Remember When.”
And the first thing to remember is the date. The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce event will happen on Sat., Sept. 30, in hopes there will be fewer scheduling conflicts.
