SSC Kids On Campus Summer Camps Expanded

Seminole State College will host its annual Kids on Campus summer camps across two sessions, June 2427 and July 8-11. Since the initial announcement of camps, the College has added a Fun Fitness Camp and extended the registration deadline.

City of Shawnee Approves FY 2025 Budget

Recognitions, introductions, contracts, agreements, and so much more information were shared, reviewed, discussed, and voted on at the Monday, June 17 meeting of the Shawnee City Commission.The City of Shawnee’s Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) was approved during the meeting.

Election Results

Republican voters were making decisions across the county for multiple races as there were no Democrat, Liberal, or Independent candidates in the local races.Voters were clear in their choice for the Pottawatomie County Sheriff. Freeland Wood received over 76 percent of the votes.

McLoud Is One Step Closer To Repairing Its Water Tower

McLoud City Manager Cody Roe presented bids to the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners Tuesday as requested for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to begin the water tower project in McLoud. One bid was rejected by the McLoud City Council.

(Oklahoma City) – Early voting for the June 18 Primary Election begins Thursday at 8 a.m. for voters across the state. Early voting, officially known as in-person absentee voting, will be held Thursday, June 13, and Friday, June 14, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
