The whole office staff of the Countywide & Sun - Owner & Publisher Suzie Campbell, Journalist Natasha Dunagan, and Office Manager & Journalist Julie Talton - attended the Oklahoma Press Association Annual Convention this weekend and raked in several awards.

There’s Still An Open Seat At The Tecumseh School Board

Prior to the start of the June Tecumseh School Board meeting, Craig MacIntyre (owner of spOKeLAHOMA) explained that Linda Capps with Citizen Potawatomi Nation was issuing a check in the amount of $2,423 from his Oklahoma Gravel Growler Event to the school system.

Tecumseh City Employees’ Retirement System Changed

There was a lot of talk about amending the city employees’ retirement system at the June 3 Tecumseh City Council meeting. After a lengthy discussion and nine agenda items combed through, the council approved all changes.
