Third Annual Fenrir Unchaind Raced Through Tecumseh June 1

Bicyclists take off at 6:45 am from spOKeLAHOMA in Tecumseh on the Third Annual Fenrir Unchaind Bike Race. They had 74 participants from six states - Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Missouri - as well as Canada.

SSC Hosts the Thirteen All-Black Towns Of Oklahoma Exhibit

Seminole State College is hosting the Thirteen All-Black Towns of Oklahoma traveling exhibit in the lobby of the Enoch Kelly Haney Center throughout the month of June.The exhibit, curated by the Oklahoma Historical Society, explores the history of All-Black towns that are still incorporated today.

Security, Communication Discussed at SPS Board Meeting

The keywords of school security and communication ran through the June 3 regular meeting of the Shawnee Board of Education.Since the last meeting, the Department of Homeland Security visited each Shawnee school site and performed a security assessment, said Superintendent Dr. Aaron Espolt.
