New Teacher Laptops Approved For Tecumseh Schools

Tecumseh Public Schools received approval Tuesday to purchase teacher laptops using education tax monies.Pottawatomie County Commissioner Abby Thompson said all the paperwork had been reviewed and was in order.
About 75 people participated in the United in Strength Stroll on April 19, recognizing the one-year anniversary of the 2023 tornado. Following a proclamation by Shawnee Mayor Ed Bolt and speeches from John Bobb-Semple, of POGO; Heath Thomas, of OBU; Dr. Aaron Espolt, of Shawnee Public Schools; and Sandy Vanderburg, of United Way of Pottawatomie County, they walked from OBU to the YMCA.
