Fifteen Years of Warmth and Caring By The West Law Firm

This year, 2023, is the 15th anniversary of The West Law Firm (TWLF) Coat Donation Program with The Salvation Army (SA) of Shawnee. Since 2009, the firm has contributed 3,724 new coats (and related attire) for distribution through the SAAngel Tree Program.
The Pottawatomie County Historical Society Light Show has moved outdoors this year, since they have installed a fence around the Paul and Ann Milburn Center. It features 13 Christmas songs programmed to synchronize with the light show, and it lasts about 26 minutes, said PCHS Director Ken Landry. Countywide & Sun/Natasha Dunagan

After the Shawnee Christmas Parade and Fireworks on Dec. 8, there was one more festivity to observe. Just a little further east on Main Street, the Pottawatomie County Historical Society (PCHS) Light Show was running - fenced in next to the Paul and Ann Milburn Center.
