Privately Owned Fairview Mausoleum Closed, Solutions Sought

The City of Shawnee voted Monday, Dec. 18, to approve the authorization to file legal proceedings, pursuant to title 50, section 17 of the Oklahoma statutes in district court in Pottawatomie, Oklahoma, for the purpose of abating a nuisance, the Fairview Mausoleum.

NRC and Tecumseh Students Excel at State Speech Contest

STILLWATER— Cooper Kline, North Rock Creek, placed first in his respective category at the American Farmers & Ranchers (AFR) State Speech Contest held in Stillwater on Dec. 2. He competed in the Senior Extemporaneous category. Also, two Tecumseh students placed in their respective categories.
