Senate Report

The Senate just completed bill filing for the upcoming legislative session. Senators filed 1,124 bills and 17 joint resolutions for consideration this year. Combined with the House bills that were filed, more than 3,200 pieces of legislation are eligible to be heard this session.

Dear Editor: SB823: Homeowners in Oklahoma whose primary residence is either a mobile home or site-built home on land they do not own (e.g., leased land) are currently not eligible to file for Homestead Exemption.

The Golden Age Center was closed for bad weather, but the snow was so beautiful this month! It brought memories of making “snow ice cream,” having snowball fights, and dressing up our snowman. These days, I enjoy staying in and staying warm.
