Christmas Kinfolks

Most of my kinfolks always provided lots of hugs, smiles, and sincere Christmas well wishes. However, I have three Christmas memories of kinfolks that were different—very different: Every family has, or knows of, a “Black Sheep.

The Golden Age Center is decked out for Christmas, and all of us are preparing for the holidays. We enjoyed time with friends and family during our Thanksgiving break.We thank the Highland Church of Christ for the care packages that were given to every member, home-bound member, and staff.

The Red Brick Ballpark

I have several times made reference to the circumstances that brought two young Kentucky families together on a small rocky farm in Southern Indiana. In 1947 the four Pecks and the four Fredericks moved into a large brick house that was built in 1869.

Giving Thanks
