We were able to get in several good viewing sessions over the month. We did have a number of evenings when we had almost solid cloud cover that went on to dissipate by the early morning hours, giving way to very good viewing conditions by 2 to 3 in the morning.

Tecumseh Golden Age Center

The Golden Age Center welcomed the autumn season with the hope for cooler weather and more showers. We want to thank Jack and Gretchen Conger and Ronny and Leann O’Dell for their gospel songfest at the center. Everyone enjoyed it so much.

With all good intentions, I planted four tomato plants at the beginning of summer and then promptly forgot about them. They were not far from the back door, behind a row of fast-growing snap peas and some faltering garlic and onions. Out of sight, out of my mind, thinking I could grow anything.
