Lance Phelps takes seat five on Tecumseh School Board

To begin the meeting, Tecumseh Alum, Lance Phelps, was sworn in as the board member for Ward 5. Phelps filed for this seat in December for the term lasting from April 2025 to March 2030.

Town of Bethel Acres Honors Volunteer FireFighters

During the monthly meeting held Apr. 7, 2025, the Town of Bethel Acres honored members of its volunteer fire department for their actions to protect the town and its residents during the wind and firestorm of Friday, Mar. 14.
Landon Sutton lifts his son, Greyson, 3, both of Pink, to see inside a 1952 Chevrolet Rat Rod owned by Monty Prince and his son, Denver Prince, both of Bethel. The Princes also own Red Dirt Metalworks and fabricated parts for the vehicle. They worked on it for about 5 or 6 years, and this was their first car show to present it. Also shown is Richard Rozelle who was enjoying the Bethel Band Boosters Car Show with his great nephew and great-great nephew on April 12. Natasha Dunagan, Countywide & Sun

Bethel Car Show attracts 153 vehicles

The Ninth Annual Bethel Band Boosters Car Show reached new heights this year.The Bethel High School Jazz Band performed that morning. They had a successful season, with Superior ratings at the SWOSU Jazz Festival. The Car Show is a fundraiser for the school band program.
