Robert Anthony McCuistion passed away Sept. 1, 2025.Visitation will be held 9 am -5 pm Sept. 6, and 1- 7 pm Sept. 7, 2025, with family gathering from 4-6 pm. Service will be 10 am Sept. 8, 2025, at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Erik Henson officiating.

Clarice “Louise” Phillips passed away Aug. 29, 2025. Louise was born in Wellington, TX, Jan. 10, 1951, to Durwood and Juanita Royal.She was a graduate of Vega High School. Louise married Douglas, Sept. 3, 2005, in Elk City, OK. She made a career serving others in the restaurant industry.

Lela Evelyn Rutledge-Clark

Lela Evelyn Rutledge-Clark passed away Aug. 21, 2025. Lela, also known as “Lee” or “Chubby”, was a strong woman to the end as she battled lung cancer for a year and a half.Lela was born on Nov. 20, 1938, to Johnie William Estep and Izetta Caldonia Butler Estep.

Judy Lynn Hamilton

Judy Lynn Hamilton passed away on Aug. 31, 2025. She was born in Hartshorne, OK, on Aug. 14, 1955, to Greeley Kirkes and Betty (Mangrum) Kirkes.Judy married Gene Hamilton in Poteau, OK, in 1973. In 1985, Judy was Rodeo Queen in McAlester, OK.

Harold Gene Daugherty

Harold Gene Daugherty passed away Aug. 24, 2025, after a brief illness. Harold was born in Edmond, OK, on Dec. 10, 1943,to A.V. and Lucille Daugherty. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1963. Harold married Margaret Carolyn Pearson on April 3, 1971 in the same church where they first met.

Sharon (Schutten) Jeffreys

Sharon Kay (Schutten) Jeffreys passed away Aug. 23, 2025.Sharon was born Mar. 30, 1943, to Harry and Mildred (Bryant) Schutten in Perry OK. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1961.She loved to spend her time crocheting, knitting and doing diamond art. Hobby Lobby was her home away from home.

John Thompson Olsen

John Thompson Olsen passed away on Aug. 9, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer.John was born on Jan. 2, 1938, to Harold and Ora Thompson Olsen in Detroit, MI. He graduated from Bellevue High School in Bellevue, WA, in 1956.

David Clayton Spoon

David Clayton Spoon passed away on July 24, 2025. He was born in Shawnee on June 5, 1960, to Robert and Melba (Mickey) Spoon. David attended Shawnee Public Schools. He was known as a hard worker who had a varied career and was a supervisor with OG&E for over ten years.

Regina Elva Stevenson

Regina Elva Stevenson, passed away Aug. 24, 2025. She was born on May 25, 1953, in Shawnee to Edd and Vera Elliott. Regina graduated from Shawnee High School and went on to work in retail, where she dedicated many years in customer service. She was married to Richard Stevenson.

Barbara Jean Britt

Barbara Jean Britt passed away on Aug. 19, 2025. She was born on Mar. 30, 1933, in Ada, OK, to Chuck Morris and Nora Lee Morris.Barbara grew up in Allen, OK, before moving to Seminole, where she graduated high school with the Class of 1951.
