A lengthy discussion was held during the Tecumseh School Board meeting Monday, Feb. 13, regarding the school mascot. Victor Cope said it had been two years since he brought the request “to explore the possibility of changing the name Savages.”

To Holly Keller-Ross, Jan. 24 was a work day like any other. The coowner of Past to Present Marketplace at 7 W. Main, in Shawnee, was decorating her display windows for Valentine’s Day.

In the Pro Men’s 85-mile division, Acosta placed first; Bell placed second; van der Meer placed fourth; Stein placed ninth; and Tetrick won first in the Pro Women’s 85-mile category, Feb. 4.
