Shawnee Approves Joint Bid On Bonds

The Shawnee Board of Education voted to approve the joint low bid from the Bank of Oklahoma and Vision Bank at an interest rate of 2.85% on the sale of $865,000 in Taxable Building Bonds during a special meeting held on April 7.

Twenty-six new members were inducted into Shawnee High School’s National Honor Society chapter during a recent ceremony.
NHS President and SHS Senior Lorelei Brem welcomed the new inductees and parents before introducing guest speaker Dr. April Grace, superintendent.
