On April 18, Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) honored its hard-working and dedicated line crews for National Lineman Appreciation Day, an annual recognition of the crews who construct, maintain and repair electric power lines.

Shawnee Public Schools will have a new multipurpose floor in the Stucker Center. Representatives Aaron Espolt and Todd Boyer appeared before the Pottawatomie County Commissioners Monday, Apr. 18, and received approval to utilize $50,795.13 of the educational sales tax monies for the overlay.

Soft-spoken and thoughtful, Tecumseh High School Senior Delaney Brown has been an intern at the “Countywide & Sun” for the spring semester, and she is always willing to take on what the day brings.
